Objectives

Provide training on the scope of the place names that are not commonly offered in the curricula of university degrees, and:

  • To present the history of the place names and discern the territory of their distribution;
  • To present the implications of place names into other disciplines (geography, archeology, anthropology, literature, etc.);
  • Encourage activities of collecting place names and language standardization;

Audience to whom it is addressed

It is primarily aimed for teachers (primary and secondary education), for professionals of the linguistic normalization offices, students and graduates (especially, but not exclusively, of philology, geography and history) and the general public.

General registration fee

120 euros

Reduced price (college, vocational or high school, USC workers, unemployed and pensioners): 70 euros

Insurance (required for those who do not belong to the USC): 15 euros
