You are cordially invited to participate in the international scientific conference of the Department of Onomastics (http://www.lki.lt/LKI_EN/index.php?option=com_content&id=75&Itemid=83) of the Institute of the Lithuanian Language



The Present of Onomastics: Innovations and Traditions dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of the most famous Lithuanian onomast Prof. Dr. habil. Aleksandras Vanagas,


which will take place on 20-21 November 2014.

Venue of the conference: Institute of the Lithuanian Language (P. Vileišio g. 5, Vilnius, Lithuania).





Working languages of the conference: Lithuanian, Latvian, English, Russian, German.

Duration of plenary session reports – 30 min, other reports – 20 min.

Please send your application form with an abstract of your report until 1 June 2014 by e-mail vanago.konferencija@gmail.com. The abstract must not exceed 2000 characters.

We will inform you on selection results until 1 July 2014.

The programme of the conference will be announced on 31 October 2014.

LTL 70 (20 EUR) if paid by a bank transfer until 1 October.
LTL 105 (30 EUR) if paid at the time of registration.
