Toponymist - Expert -  Requisition ID  066215 USA-Missouri-Saint Louis USA-Virginia-Springfield  Description L-3 NSS is seeking multiple Expert Toponymists/Linguists/Geonames Specialists to support our DoD customer in St. Louis, MO and Springfield, VA. ***These positions are contingent upon contract award***   Qualifications Requirements: Advanced familiarity with computer operations Knowledge of data retrieval/storage and generating reports. Knowledge of computer programs: Common Office Software Advanced knowledge of geography Strong knowledge of cartography: Advanced map reading skills Skills, Knowledge and understanding of GIS applications/geospatial analysis Advanced knowledge of research gathers: Internet search tools, Library functions (query, ordering, etc) Proficient oral and written communication skills Proficient customer support skills. Education / Experience Bachelor degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to four years of experience Master degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to two years of experience Doctorate degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to three years of experience 10 – 20 years of experience L-3 is a prime contractor in aerospace systems and national security solutions.
