Germà Colón i Doménech (30 November 1928 – 22 March 2020) was a Spanish philologist of Romance philology and Catalan toponymy.
Colón died in his home in Barcelona at the age of 91 due to COVID-19, and had been suffering from respiratory problems for several years before.
His most famous work is "Corpus Toponímic Valencià" (2009).The universities of València, Alacant Castelló, as well as the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Complutense University of Madrid, recognized his work with the highest distinction of Doctor Honoris Causa.
