Towns in 🇩🇪 where streets are named after chancellors of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Konrad Adenauer (CDU, Christian Democrats), the 1st chancellor of West Germany from 1949-63, has the most streets named after him. A divide between East and West is clearly visible.
Willy Brandt, 1st chancellor from the Social Democrats (SPD), has the second most streets named after him. Lots of places in North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and Lower Saxony, but only few in Bavaria.
Given that both passed away recently, only few streets are named after Helmut Kohl (CDU) as of today.
