Canadian Surnames Maps

The well-known website provides the mapping of Canadian surnames

http://www.dynastree.ca/

The charting is very rough, by vast Canadian areas, no smaller clustering is possible...

This is a relative dispersion of the surname AHRENS, it's the family name of the actual president of the Canadian Society of the Study of Names:

This is the ditribution of the last name LEBLANC (in honour of the Benoît Leblanc - redactor of the journal "Onomastica Canadiana"), which demonstrates the French Canadian origin and repartition.

I am sure that Canada deserves a much more flexible, reliable and scientific surnames mapping based on the works of  the great Canadian onomastician - Louis Duchesne: http://www.lesprenoms.net/ .

Well, so far for today!!!
