Fellowship for the cultural heritage of Molise

FOR AN INFORMATION SYSTEM OF CULTURAL HERITAGE. LANDASCAPE AND AMBIENT (16TH-17TH CENTURIES)

During the medieval and modern age the Molise wasn’t a static area, if area doesn’t mean only a geographical space. This space is characterized by mountains and level ground and its landscape in the past has been dominated by seasonal transhumance. In special for this reasons the social system was based on the rural economy that was based by more kinds of social mobility (singles or groups persons).

The research wants to analize the symbolic cultural heritage of Molise (trough the ecclesiastical institutions, the places of worship, the devotions, the toponymy and the onomastics). The Molise will be studied like a space of cultural transfer and like a bourder of Eastern Mediterranean Sea. In this way we can give back to the collective memory the awareness of the cultural density that often was eclipsed. We think that the valorization (with exhibits and museums) is important to understand and to fruition of cultural heritage in Molise.

To participate in the competition, candidates must possess the following requirements:

• Master's Degree in Cultural Heritage;

• PREFERRED TITLE: Ph.D. in History and / or Ph.D. in Cultural Heritage (Curriculum: Disciplines archival).

Selection process

The interview will take place on June 25, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Department of Humanities, Social and Education, Multifunctional Building II, Via F. De Sanctis snc, in Campobasso (CB). This notice constitutes official summons, no further communications will be sent home, so all candidates who have applied by the deadline are invited to present on the day, time and place fixed for the trial, with a valid identity document.
