Job Description

This newly created role will support a variety of LOBs within Wells Fargo, offering strategic & creative
naming/messaging solutions for printed and digital projects for line of business names, campaigns,
products, services, and programs.  Responsibilities Include:
  • Evaluating names submitted by LOB’s to ensure they fit with our naming architecture as 
  • well as our partner needs – generating naming & messaging solutions, sharing process 
  • and setting expectations
  • Generating names for LOB’s to review & consider
  • Organizing and facilitating meetings with LOB partners to understand naming needs and 
  • determine best course of action
  • Preparing short presentation decks with examples of how names would appear in LOB 
  • context
  • Reaching out to Brand Team Partners for collaboration on projects which involve visual 
  • identity work
  • Working closely with Aprimo Database Administrator to facilitate naming reviews with Legal
  • Providing regular updates and reporting on projects
  • Accountable for naming agency management and evaluation

Basic Qualifications

6+ years marketing experience and 3+ years leadership experience.
Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience at an advertising or branding agency working in a naming or 
  • copywriting capacity
  • Experience managing a high volume of creative projects
  • Experience working on, partnering with, or serving various marketing channels, including 
  • print and digital media
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or other business-related field
  • Experience within the Financial Services Sector
