Dear under/post-graduate
students and doctoral students,
The Department of Humanities at the Technical
University of Koszalin is delighted to invite you to take part in the first
ever conference for under/post-graduate students and doctoral students entitled
‘Young Philologists of the 21st Century.’ The conference will take
place on 25 May 2018 at the university’s
Department of Humanities located at ul. Kwiatkowskiego 6e. We would like
all students and doctoral students of philology to take part. Therefore,
subjects for refection include all philological research being conducted by the
newest generation of language devotees. Papers, which may be delivered in
Polish, English or German, may deal with the following issues/themes, among
other things:
- Translation issues
- Rhetoric
- Linguistics
- The History of Literature
- Literary theory
- Contemporary language (its grammar, inflection,
syntax, phraseology)
- Didactics
- Onomastics
- Dialectology
We kindly request that that topics and abstracts (up
to 200 words) be sent by 21 February 2018 to either of the email address below:
We reserve the right to make a selection from the
proposals sent. The duration of the delivery of papers should not exceed 20
minutes. Participants are required to send their completed papers by 15 April
2018. Papers which have been delivered and will be published as articles, once
they have been positively reviewed and sent ready for publication by 25 June,
either in an academic journal produced by the Technical University of Koszalin
or as a volume of collected papers. Participation in the conference is free of
charge while the organizers hope to be able to provide light refreshments
during the break.
