Galicia Nomeada is a collaborative platform for the collection, referencing and dissemination of Galician microtoponymy.
This application enables the volunteers (individuals, local and cultural associations, communities, educational centers, associations, public and private groups...) to add toponyms according to a predefined methodology.
No one knows the names of a territory better than the people who inhabit it. You can register yourself on this platform to check the toponyms you know best. Once you access the system, you will be able to follow the status of the newly added toponyms and keep in touch with those who have already collected in your village or parish.
