TOMORROW !!! Online Seminar "Shifting Shades of Dementia and Naming"

 Dear friends,

Ayokunmi Ojebode is pleased to invite you to his presentation at the first online research seminar for the Institute for Name Studies, School of English, University of Nottingham, on Tuesday, 7 October at 18:00 (UK time).

As a guest speaker, Ayokunmi Ojebode PhD, FHEA (Hon. Research Fellow, School of Psychology, University of Surrey) will be presenting on the topic:

"Shifting Shades of Dementia and Naming: My experience of using creative practice to improve the well-being of carers and people with dementia in the UK".

This presentation draws on Ojebode's experiences as a creative writer, name expert and dementia adviser as he navigates the dynamic significance of names in dementia community and NHS hospital settings.

Can co-produced storytelling and creative writings help document historical antecedents and caregiving experiences for people with dementia in diverse settings? Don't miss our vital discussion tomorrow on the interdisciplinary connection between naming and dementia.

You can send a private message to him or Prof. Jayne Carroll to get the registration link.
