UNGEGN is inviting inputs through a short survey exploring how organizations are currently using Artificial Intelligence in toponymy, including:

• standardization of names
• transliteration and transcription
• extraction of names from documents and maps
• geocoding
• pronunciation and audio generation
• cultural sensitivities, Indigenous naming rights and ethical considerations
• costs, resources and future opportunities
