The 6th International Conference on Onomastics "(In)correctness in Onomastics" started tomorrow !

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

Sections:

  • (In)correctness in Anthroponymy
  • (In)correctness in Toponymy
  • (In)correctness in Names in Public Space (e.g., commercial names etc.)

Official conference languages: Romanian, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish.

Timing: Every paper presentation is allotted 25 minutes (20 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for discussions).

The venue: The conference will be held in the main building of “Petre Dulfu” County Library in Baia Mare. All conference rooms are equipped with computers and projectors. The computers all run on Windows 10 and use Microsoft Office 2007/2010. Most fonts and characters are supported. If you have a PowerPoint presentation, please make sure to save it in a format compatible with PowerPoint 2007/ 2010.
There is WiFi internet connection at the conference venue, but also at the North University Centre and at the hotels.
“Petre Dulfu” County Library is located in the city centre, and it is within a max. 10-minutes’ walk from all accommodation options.

For attending ICONN 6 online, we will use Zoom.
The participants are invited to join the Conference by simply clicking the link below:

There will be a host welcoming all participants in the main session. After checking the technical details and allocating the suitable roles, the participants will be distributed in breakout rooms dedicated to each Section.
